In 1988 I sent two slides of slides of the diptych paintings, Cobaltica 1 and Cobaltica 2 to ICI Dulux Paints, and received an offer of sponsorship for my one-person show ‘Spirit of Sexuality’at the Contact Gallery in Norwich. This exhibition included a video about my work, which also promoted my sponsors. The video was filmed by the late Mike Toll at my studio and home in Somerleyton, Suffolk. The music was composed and played by Michael Bates.
